Databases are there to Help
I wasn’t a big proponent of the internet originally. I didn’t like all the junk that a kid could get into, but my now a days I am finding it most helpful. I always worry about the individuals my kids hang out with and their family situations. Before I ever leave my child with any adult I do a search about them. I get county records, police records and do a search through our sex offender database. Taking these steps gives me the peace of mind that I am doing everything I can to protect the well being of my child.
