My daughter walked into a pet store the other day and saw this beautiful Blue and Gold Macaw. These birds are as big as your arm and are just gorgeous. They can talk and tell you all kinds off things. We immediately fell in love. The pet store employee then showed us different types of cages. I didn’t know it but there are cages for indoors and outdoors. A Parrot Cage has to be durrible otherwise the birds will chew through them. The cages for outside are called flight cages. The cages for inside are just parrot cages. Flight Cages are huge so that the birds can have more mobility to stay healthy. Indoor cages are smaller but are still big enough for the bird to feel comfortable. Indoor cages are required to house a large parrot. However a flight cage is nice but it is not a necessity.
