Car Drivers Neglecting Car Maintenance

With us being in the middle of a recession it seems that some motorists are neglecting to keep their cars maintained properly. In order to save money, car owners are delaying having their vehicles serviced on time, and are leaving it longer before changing their tires. The recent hikes in gasoline prices have contributed to the situation, leaving car owners with less disposable income. But, delaying car repairs and servicing is a false economy. Poorly serviced cars use more gas. Also, if tires are worn they too can impair fuel economy. More importantly, negecting a car’s maintenance puts motorists in danger, so safety becomes an issue for all road users.
