A Hard Decision That Was Easy to Make

19 February 2010

I was confused for a long time about what career path that I wanted to take in life. The only thing that I knew was that I wanted to be in a field that helped people. After getting severely ill and taken to the hospital, I finally figured out that I wanted to become a nurse. I could feel the loving care from the nurses that treated me, and their mannerisms showed me that they love what they do. I found some schools that offered Online Lpn Programs and I applied for enrollment. It was a hard decision that was made easily.

No time to make our own arrangements

14 February 2010

Usually I would arrange everything for our trips overseas as it is so easy to book things online now days, but this time I just didn’t have the time so we had a travel agent make all the plans for us. She found a real good deal on airfares for us that was packaged with a vehicle from a car rental company which was obviously the best way to go. I had never heard of the hotel she had us booked in to but after looking at it on the net we were pretty excited as it looked like an amazing place.

How Many Friends Online do You Have?

10 February 2010

Friends abound of these days but not as many as online. You may ask your network of individuals that you know a particular question. You may only have one or two experts out of your 200 friends. Now think about social media because people put everything on a page and save it. Here’s one squidoo page about GoDaddy created by one individual and has been posted online. Your acquaintances may become tens of thousands online as opposed to hundreds. While friends online in your daily friends may be different you can still obtain their expertness. I’m sure that makes sense to you. Be sure to learn how to search content networks. You may not want to join one of the very least you can find information.

He Works Hard for the Money

20 January 2010

My gay mormon friend is surprised by the long hours my husband works. He came home earlier today and maybe five minutes later, he got called back to the office for an emergency repair job. It’s been three hours now and I’m not sure if I should keep the soup I made on the stove or put it in the fridge. It’s probably at the perfect temperature for another while longer, but I’ll probably have to put it away within the next 30 minutes. My gay mormon friend said it would be nice for him not to have to eat a reheated meal for once.

A Lot of Crying

16 January 2010

Every month at my mom’s ward, this woman would get up to bear her testimony of jesus christ, but usually rather than speaking of Jesus Christ, she would start rambling about how hard her week had been, all the bad things that happened to her, and she would sob on and off. Most of what she said, we couldn’t even understand because she was crying so hard, but I do remember her telling a story about her van breaking down. She was a nice lady, but we felt kind of uncomfortable whenever she got up. Maybe we were being judgmental.

Self Knowledge can lead to great things

07 December 2009

What does it mean to have self knowledge? I mean to really understand our own motivations for what we do in life? Most of us actually work based on what we’ve known from the past and insist that what we know is right. In spite of the fact that most people claim in elections for example that they want to see change, the reality is that most of us resist change because change challenges our knowledge of ourselves. The author of this site asks to you to question what you know of yourself. It may be uncomfortable for some, but I think ultimately you will get a lot out of it.

Baptism by Immersion

04 December 2009

Many Christian churches practice infant baptism, where infants are sprinkled with water. In mormon doctrine, though, it is taught that infant baptism is a sin because all children are pure before the Lord. It is only after the age of accountability, which mormon doctrine says is age eight, that children should be baptized. Mormons baptize by immersion, as Jesus himself was the example of when John the Baptist baptized Him in the River Jordan. The symbolism of baptism by immersion includes the death of the Savior and His burial, when one is brought under the water, as well as His resurrection, when one is brought back up out of the water.

Let Randy Charach Help You Set Up Your Domain

03 December 2009

Many years ago when I first started out in the business world, we relied on newspapers for getting our names out there to the public, but now things have changed. Last year I started up my own company, and I realized that I didn’t know anything about how to set up my own domain. I decided to do some searching online, and I read some articles that were written by Randy Charach about how to get everything set up. It was so easy to do, and once things were up and running, my sales increased dramatically. Getting my name out there is easier than I thought!

A Rare Bonding Moment for Father and Daughter

23 November 2009

My dad was never that into bonding with us kids. I don’t know if it was just his personality or if he didn’t feel as close to us because he was exmormon, but I did have a happy time that I asked him to go to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusades with me and he accepted. He had a really nice time. Years Later I was so disappointed to have to turn down a trip with him to Montana because I had a doctor appointment I couldn’t reschedule. It would have been a really fun trip with my exmormon dad, talking about things we can both relate to.
