Their Homework Is A Free Credit Report
I teach a course in Marriage and the Family to Juniors and Seniors in college. One of the things that I have learned over the years is that most of my students see little to no value in saving money and have even less idea about what good credit means. One student out of ten will mention savings in their budgeting module and none of them know what their credit score is. As part of their homework I have them all request a free credit report. We then take that report and as part of the class each student gets to analyze what that report actually means to them.
