Then a friend told me many people printed at home.

Like a kid headed for a candy store, I went down to a mega computer store and thought I’d just pick up a printer, install it, and be done.

But I was soon lost in a sea of printers, each with more features than the last. A salesman was happy to show me several ink jet printers and some of the differences among them, as well as which replacement cartridges they would need.

Eventually I got my printer home and began using it; but I did go to sleep with visions of ink jets dancing in my head.
