Consideration of Buying New Hybrid Cars

If the prices of new hybrid cars are lower than they are now, many people would switch to a hybrid car. When the purchase price is equivalent to the purchase price of a comparable new car, there is no doubt that people will choose a hybrid car over a regular gas car.

Alternatively, if the savings in running costs over one to two years would offset the increased purchase price of a hybrid car then many people would also consider it.

Another thing to take into consideration would be the effective range of the hybrid, availability of plug in charging stations and cost of replacement batteries.
